Using Swarovski crystal beads and dark, patinated chain, Erik Halley's complete body jewel is inspired by traditional, ritualistic Masaï beaded ornaments. It is a jewel that celebrates femininity in all its aspects. The main structure follows the lines of energy that run around the human body, the charkas and the acupuncture points. At the same time, the jewel refers to traditional cultures in which ceremonial costume and ornaments move fashion into new worlds of symbolism, spiritual and emotional cults. "We use different jewellery techniques as a vocabulary to describe the main features of a personality."
